Raging Stallion studios Grunts breaks sales records
GRUNTS BREAKS ONE-DAY SALES RECORDS
Raging Stallion’s epic military movie GRUNTS yesterday broke all industry records for first day retail sales. The Studio sent out a mailing at nine am and immediately began receiving an overwhelming number of phone and internet orders for the much anticipated film. For retail sales alone the 24-hour take is estimated to be in excess of $25,000, an industry record. No wholesale sales figures are yet available.
“We are obviously elated!” said studio president and GRUNTS co-director Chris Ward. “We expected strong numbers out of the gate given the amazing amount of press and industry buzz the project has generated. Even so, I was not really prepared to make back ten percent of the entire production cost in one day! I am also very impressed with the sales volume of the six-disc set. At at $150 price point, I was worried that customers would hesitate to make such a large purchase. Our customers, however, clearly know that when they buy from Raging Stallion they are getting a guaranteed, excellent product.”
In addition to the six disc set, customers have the option of purchasing the movie in three parts, each of which was filmed to be a stand-alone product. When buying the entire six-disc set customers save over $50.
Raging Stallion has long had a policy of 100% refunds to any customer who is not satisfied with a Raging Stallion movie for any reason, including personal taste. GRUNTS comes with this guarantee.
GRUNTS, one of the most expensive gay erotic movies ever made, is a grand example of big-budget porn, a genre that is rapidly being replaced by shorter, more amateur-based product. GRUNTS is being viewed by many in the industry as a test case to see if the blockbuster format still has a market. The first indications are that GRUNTS is the smash-hit of the year.
